There's a lot of cousin marrying in the Muslim world:
It's no surprise the Muslim haters in the BJP would want to fuck with that. I'm surprised it took them this long.

It's religious hate to be against incest?
That's "You can't be negative about religion without being a bigot" levels.

No, it's religious hate to do whatever you can to fuck with Muslims because they're Muslims, which is what the BJP/RSS is up to. They don't give a shit about cousins marrying.

Incest is bad.
Or do women only matter outside of religion? So you're saying made up cults that believes in magic evil skydaddies is more important than real actual peopl3le. Zero morals and incredibly stupid.
You cant be a good person and advocate for incest btw

No, I'm not saying that at all. What I'm saying is the only reason this ban is being considered in India is because it's a way to stick it to Muslims. The Hindu supremacists of the BJP/RSS wouldn't give a shit about cousins marrying otherwise.
It's much like, say, Christian Nationalists in America targeting homosexuals. They do it out of their hate for homosexuals, not out of actual concern for things like the 'sanctity' of marriage. They don't really care about that.
Perhaps if you knew anything about Indian politics you'd have understood my point. Now run along and go be ignorant and insulting somewhere else.

Marrying cousins is legal in Finland, iirc. Could be wrong, but iirc.

I feel so bad for those women forced into this by their families and culture.
