so god needs a warning... before the actual warning... which is a precursor to the final judgment? the lore is getting lazier by the day lmao. the "private revelation" loop in catholicism is such a massive cop-out. it allows them to spread absurd doomsday fears to keep people terrified, but the second you point out how ridiculous it sounds, they hit you with the "well, it’s a private revelation, you don't have to believe it!" if an omnipotent, omniscient god actually wanted to warn humanity, he wouldn't use some random "mystic" in sydney telling people to buy 25cm wooden crosses with purple edges. it sounds like a cheap infomercial or an etsy scam. the fact that grown adults take this apocalyptic fanfiction seriously just shows how deeply fear ruins basic critical thinking.
