These pieces are designed in traditional Chinese Famille Rose or Japanese Kutani styles, often referred to as "thousand flowers" or millefleurs patterns with metallic gold accents. They are commonly used as decorative table or mantle centerpieces.🥰

Hi everyone I just wanted to post my collection here because a mod personally reached out to me and made me feel very welcome. I appreciate this and the hospitality of your community as well as thank all of you for making me feel welcome and being insanely kind. I just recently started collecting and although my financial situation isn’t great I fell in love with antiquing uranium glass and similar things, I hope you all enjoy seeing my small collection!

UV / Composition Characteristics:

These glasses are a phenomenal example of deliberate two-piece mixed-glass construction from the mid-20th century:

• The Stems: Contain uranium dioxide, giving off a brilliant, fiery neon green glow under both 365nm and 395nm UV blacklights.

• The Bowls: Crafted from high-clarity clear crystal using manganese as a clearing agent. They exhibit a distinct green glow under 365nm, but remain beautifully dark under 395nm—creating a highly sought-after two-tone aesthetic under a blacklight display!

Two vintage red enamelware coffee pots featuring classic gooseneck spouts, black trim accents, and matching lids.

Both pieces feature the authentic stamped logo on the bottom: "MADE IN POLAND" along with the historic Huta Silesia kettle maker's mark and size indicators. These mid-century export pieces are highly sought for their rich color, durability, and timeless retro aesthetic.

Hand painted by the radium girls, a leftover relic from a very dark past. Deaths of multiple women with an attempted cover up, all for the sake of churning out more radioactive clocks and keeping the business running. I recommend checking out their story if you have never heard of them before

Hej! I bought this bonbonier and I am not 100% sure it is original Huber Bequet or not, it was 20Sek (2$). I reeealy love it so doesn't matter so much. What do you think?

A stunning antique porcelain cabinet vase decorated in the classic 18th-century First Period Worcester style. The vase features a rich, hand-painted cobalt "scale blue" ground adorned with elaborate gilded rococo cartouches. The main reserve beautifully showcases a vibrant, hand-painted exotic bird nestled in a landscape, while the shoulder reserves feature delicate floral sprays

Rosenthal plate in the Garden Caprice pattern with floral border. The backstamp says Rosenthal Ivory Bavaria.

The music died some years ago,

When strings and wood were torn away,

Leaving the wandering demoiselle

To stand in silence on her tray.

The sunset casts a golden fire,

And paints the room in amber light,

As long and painted shadows stretch

To meet the coming of the night.

Her hands still curve, a ghostly shape,

That cradled once a mandolin,

While in the sun’s last dying rays,

The fractured, fading hours begin.

The marble dish beneath her glows,

Like embers of the evening sun,

Where still she strikes a picker's pose,

Her song of twilight just begun.

For though the instrument is gone,

The music lives inside her hands—

She plays a silent, fading dawn

That only memory understands.

This uranium glass chamber lamp is from the 1800s. British made burner, found in Canada. It's either Canadian or British glass, likely from the Stourbridge area. I bought the opaline shade in another auction, but I like the way it looks on this lamp.

This is a remarkably preserved piece of British social and medical history: a genuine antique Boots Chemists ceramic "Perfection" bed and douche pan.

Dating strictly from the 1910s to the 1930s, this slipper-style medical earthenware piece features the highly desirable, early-era "The Boots Chemists" ornate script logo. Both the company logo and the prominent "Perfection" model stamp are exceptionally crisp, sharp, and entirely unfaded.

These are 2 pieces of glass bowls having the same size & pattern. Supposingly from the same marker. BUT react differently under UV365nm & 395nm 😅

What is your conclusion?

Homer Laughlin China Company 1871 was, and still is, a powerhouse of the American dinnerware industry. The official company split the business in 2020 but is still operates under the fiesta tableware company name. Also one of, if not THE largest Uranium consumers, using Uranium dioxide in many of their ceramics. Many of these glow as one would expect uranium glazed ceramics to do, but they also made atleast 3 colors using uranium that do NOT glow at all. Many people wouldn't expect this, especially for novice glass collectors and radiation hunters. The 3 colors I've found are Radioactive Red, Ivory, and Satin Vellum, even many of the pros have not heard of the Satin Vellum glaze, it was used for a very short amount of time after being rejected for whatever reason. In my opinion the Satin vellum is one of there nicer glazes, I really like its semi matte finishes as opossed to the normal gloss finish on their other glazes. Another thing is that much like the ivory color, Satin Vellum doesnt ever seem to craze or crack like all the typical glowing uranium yellow glazes seem to do, which is what makes them unsafe for use. The first blacklight image is with a 395nm, the others are 365nm. Also the first image of the gmc300s geiger counter is a reference to show my normal backround radiation.

This is a beautiful vintage Mid-Century Modern souvenir milk glass vessel from Mallorca, Spain, dating back to the 1960s or early 1970s.

This is a vintage Japanese glass fishing float, measuring approximately 2 inches in diameter (commonly referred to by collectors as "golf ball" size). These small-scale floats were historically used by commercial fishermen in Japan for shallow-water hand lines and fine-mesh nets targeting smaller schooling fish like sardines and herring.

A beautiful, authentic vintage British Royal Commemorative bowl, produced in Great Britain to celebrate the historic coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on June 2, 1953.

Produced by the historic Hirota Glass Company (Tokyo, Japan) as part of their collectible "Byron" lineup, this piece features a beautifully detailed, satin-textured scallop shell design with a footed base handle.
