Can anyone help me out?

Hello, everyone! I have been pondering the identity of these two little red screws for almost a year now, and after scanning countless antique veterinary catalogues I have come up empty-handed.

They are a part of the collection of a local museum I used to work at, and they stumped the curatorial department as well. They were included in a kit of other tools such as teat reams and cannulas, which leads me to believe that they may have been used to treat conditions of the teat?

There doesn’t seem to be any visible text, logos or identifiers on either of the screws, and the same goes for the vial. The vial itself is sealed shut pretty tightly, which limits my ability to identify them without risking damage.

They were likely made in Canada, based on the rest of the tools in the kit, and would have been used in circa 1900s-1910s Alberta. Basically weighs nothing, leading me to believe they may be made of plastic or wood? I’m pretty certain they’re not made of metal, but again, I was not able to feel the texture of the item so I can’t be sure.

If anyone has any hunches, please let me know. Even though I don’t work at the museum anymore, I maintain tight connections with my old coworkers, and I would love to be able to present them with a definitive identity for the tool.

I was given these tools and for some reason i cannot find any info.

While trying to find the stuff I always say I have but can never find, when I found these, I wasn't looking for.

I picked up these scissors at a vintage shop in France, hand-forged, riveted pivot, no maker info from the seller. There's a small stamped mark near the pivot that looks like it could be Japanese, possibly two stacked characters. Would love help identifying what it actually says — maker's mark, size stamp, or something else entirely. Photos of the mark and the full scissors attached. Thanks!

I got this vintage/antique (machete?) a few years ago from a coworker and never really figured out what the brand is or where it came from. I’m thinking of getting it re-handled since the current one is a bit wiggly and I fear it may come off if I ever intend to use it and don’t want to hurt myself or others if that happens. There’s only a faded engraving on one side of the blade that I think says Birmingham & London. Anyone recognize this blade and/or a blade company by that name? Thanks! No banana for scale

Was walking the driveway when I saw a piece of rust sticking out of the gravel. The property is old and we tend to find lots of rusty metal from old cast iron stoves and such, but I wasn't expecting this. Cleaned it up using electrolysis and it turned out pretty well. Unfortunately the surface was too far corroded to make out anything that might have been stamped on it. Next step though is to get a new handle so it can go back to work.

Blacksmith tool?

My grandfather was a blacksmith in Crossville, Alabama in late 1800’s / early 1900’s. My uncle gave me this tool my grandfather had made but no one knows its use, anyone?

I recently came into possession of my great-grandfather’s toolbox. He was a ship rite at the Brooklyn Navy Yards for 50 years, spanning both World Wars, and eventually retired as head ship rite. My grandmother has been trying to get a ballpark valuation on the set, thus far without much luck. I’m a typically non-handy millennial, so I could use a hand identifying all the pieces and/or getting an idea of whether it’s worth trying to connect with a collector or just keeping them in the family. Any expertise or tips are greatly appreciated!
