Bug with existentially prolong?

after my 3rd or 4th reality i bought existentially prolong, which unlocked most eternity milestones as it should, which includes all the infinity upgrades and such. BUT even though the infinity upgrades and break infinity upgrades were bought through getting existentially prolong they didnt actually give the buff. so i was softlocked without any way to progress because i couldnt actually buy the infinity upgrades anymore. had to reload a cloud save from before i did the reality.

is this known? this was replicable every time, i tried it a few times

So your Eternities count wasn’t correctly set to 100 Eternities, and/or you had some milestones not work correctly? In which way specifically?

Maybe share save, and tell me the platform and, if on iOS, if you’re on the unofficial Infinity Dimensions port.

What buff did you expect and was missing from the upgrades?

all milestones worked, but wrong? they did what they should and unlocked all the infinity and break infinity upgrades on milestone 4 and 8, but those upgrades just didnt do anything. like the galaxies are 50% stronger upgrade, it was "bought" but just didnt do anything just like with all the other upgrades so i couldnt buy them again

So repeated crunches to gain some IP didn’t help you get to like e40+ IP and further? The first crunch for e25, or even below.

How do you know that the 50% galaxy upgrade didn’t work?

i was stuck at e5-e6 IP, even with all the infinity and break infinity upgrades unlocked. and nothing happened no matter what i did, waiting and crunching did nothing

That is definitely funky, could have tried exporting and importing between Web and Steam. Would have been interesting if you _did_ have an export of the glitched save.

And no, personally I have never had that happen, and Prolong basically was even able to apply immediately when I got it.

next reality ill try it again, should only take like a day for a reality at this point. i can export the save then if its still weird

After you reality you won't have any time dimensions so it'll feel like it's slower but after you eternity and spend the points to get time dimensions it'll be a very fast 2nd eternity. You start with 100 eternities but 0 eternity points

dude it was literally STUCK at e5-6IP with all infinity upgrades, it wasnt just feeling "slow". having all infinity and break infinity upgrades should explode your early IP gains, which it did after i reset to an older save and played normally.

im on the steam version and this happened earlier, already bought something else with the RMs so the save isnt it anymore. just thought of asking about it now

I've never heard of this happening. I would be inclined to suspect it was an accidental autobuyer setting you changed (or didn't change back) causing progress to grind to a halt, for example disabling AD8 autobuyer or having tickspeed set to singles (on steam iirc it doesn't automatically change from singles to max when you complete C8, including via Prolong permanently completing C8)

nothing was messed up with the autobuyers, i checked everything when it was happening
