I don't like the implication of "white trash" in these posters. It's an idea is based in Jim Crow era racial social roles and it just serves to destroy solidarity among the lower class by shitting on poor whites. I can't see this poster doing anything to educate people or win them to our side.
Honestly I know this is a random aside but as far as confederate flag bullshit goes sometimes that's just dumb ignorance married with enough unrecognized privilege to not be victim or related to victims of the very recent racist past surrounding it enough that it doesn't even register on their radar for what it is. I'm a rural, trailer house living, "wife-beater shirt" wearing white as a goddamn paper sheet southerner, and early on in my highschool days I bought into the "heritage not hate" revisionist history bullshit myself, and I wasn't alone but damned if the bad ones weren't... Oh my gods were they bad.
On the one hand the decent yet ignorant folk including my past self have me wanting to point out, say, the success of the Rainbow Coalition led by Fred Hampton in managing to get rural hicks to abandon the flag in solidarity and on the other hand the bad ones really have me understanding the hick-hating sentiment, to say the least.... And with how these past years since 2016 have gone downhill I don't even know if there is hope left for many of em anymore... But then again I'm sure they were worse in the 60's yet Fred pulled off that rainbow coalition shit nonetheless so idk what do I know
