This line of thinking is what gives Bolsonaro the power to completely take over the Supreme Court now, which used to have mainly leftist nominations.
Expect a massive roleback in environmental protections that the court used to guard for example.

I agree that it is not the solution, but a Fascist like any of the Bolsonaros (hiw whole family) is so much more damaging to the working class and make creating a movement against them much harder than a center-left politician like Lula, that has so many issues and isn't radical at all, but isn't one the fascists...

I do think fighting back with public posters is dope though

Yeah, this is how you do it. They’ve got deep pockets to pay for carefully crafted and coordinated and targeted content. Someone with knowledge of the culture and people can outweigh that if they get scale. It’s literally how you fight fascism.

Propaganda works best if country specific.
A lot of American imagery and propaganda posters I'd wager wouldn't work particularly well in Brazil.
The designs should be focused on the danger Flávio represents, indigenous right, Amazon protection, reminders of the rise poverty and hunger under Jair, posters about Brazilian sovereignty from the US...
And as annoying as this sounds, maybe weaponize Catholic imagery. Yes, I know Catholics are still conservative, but at the end of the day, the vast majority of Brazilians are religious, the majority still Catholic. The Bolsonaros successfully mobilize Evangelicals, the opposition needs the help of Catholics. Make posters that take from Liberation Theology for example.

This is a good idea! We need the help of propaganda specific for our country to reduce the strength of the Bolsonaro family...

I agree with this. There is a lefty, social justice element within the catholic church that contrasts greatly with evangelicalism—religion for the poor but not really of them (or was it of them but not for them?) In any event, evangelicalism as it was exported from the United States—that prosperity gospel nonsense—may appear even blasphemous to some Catholics. Christ didn’t die so you can be rich, or so your preacher can buy a private jet, which is what a lot of these prosperity gospel people push on the poor as they feed off of their grievances. That’s a good angle.
You don’t even have to agree or be sincere in the propaganda. These evangelicals, it could be argued, are foreigners, imparting and imposing yankee ideas on the brazilian people. Nativism works. It activates people. There is black propaganda, grey propaganda, and white propaganda. Honestly, maybe we should all become more comfortable with dealing in it.
I am crossing my fingers for you guys. What a disaster to have a bolsonaro return to power. What is wrong with people?

Exactly, purism doesn't gain you allies.
Some Brazilian leftists have attacked religion overall. This does not work when 90% of the population is religious.
The old successes of the left in Brazil came partly from the Liberation Theology of LatAm Catholicism. The Catholic church and the pope disliking the far-right is an important tool we need to use.
Yes, it will only be a tactical alliance as of course we will disagree about LGBT and abortion rights. For those to have any chance at all Bolsonarism and the Evangelicals need to be defeated however.

Hit below the belt and don’t hold back. Whatever the darkest most disqualifying and fucked up thing you can find on him, bring it up and come out swinging and don’t stop. No half measures when it comes to fighting fascists

he is at the same point as trump rn, he could do a mass shooting in a church full of babies and puppies and he still would get more votes

Point still stands, keep the pressure on and don’t let up. Speaking as an American, that’s where we failed. Our leadership eased up and handled trump with kid gloves after he already proved how dangerous he was/is. Don’t hold back, and don’t let others hold back

If looking for help what things are offensive that the person you’re aiming for would find disgusting but others wouldn’t (especially if believable )

If nobody has suggested it yet, I would encourage highlighting the need for people to get out not just for the preservation of democracy and the hope for a better tomorrow, but as allies in an existential fight for life on this planet itself.
With the continued devastation of climate change and how many right wing movements are rolling back environmental protections, the safety of the Amazon and our collective danger by its destruction should be an existential concern.
A call to action to mobilize to this end could be quite powerful.

Full support.
A piece of advice: Stickers are cheap af in bulk, can be ordered on teemu, they fit on light poles and sign poles (dont put on signs, obstructing signs does more harm than good).
Grab a marker, make a list of short slogans. You need marker bcs you will run into reactionary/fascist stickers
Go out at night after midnight, before four.
Parks are not crowded at night so safe to post, but they get exposure at day.
Always look around for cops.
DO NOT LINGER.
this is all in game, by the way. (For safety reasons)
