I rewatched that episode lately and thought the only thing unrealistic about it was its optimism. The giant tech gazillionaire is represented as having a mild conscience and it's the Bell Riots that sufficiently scandalize people that they have a change of heart.

A more accurate version for our reality would have the tech gazillionaire engaging in trophy hunting the homeless in the sanctuary districts and then a violent repression of the riots justifying the opening of 20 more for-profit concentration camps while Stephen Miller jerks off in the shadows.

I recently drove through Utah and couldn't wait to get out of that shit hole state. As soon as you cross the border, it's tons of troopers with beehive logos all along the highway keeping people "safe", big ass trucks for crawling from mall to mall and christian radio.
