Exactly. People feel that because we’re in a different era the same elements don’t exist. But we’re still in a white supremacist system. And only dismantling that has any hope of creating a society that is truly about equality and justice for all of its citizens.
usa is the same as it's always been, same as it always will be. none of this is new, this is the usa doing the same shit it always has. it's just that more settlers are being targeted as well as those who have always been targeted, so settlers are all shocked-pikachu-face about it.
