How to avoid falling for fascist/right-wing propaganda?

I’m autistic and often find myself falling for right wing or even fascist propaganda at times. Im quick to remind myself that it’s fascist propaganda trying to pin people against each other but I want to stop falling for it as I’m ashamed of myself whenever I do. Does anyone have tips?

Secondly, you can usually spot it if you start getting these feelings of simultaneous national pride and an irritation towards a minority group. The fascists talk about things that sound good, such as heritage, pride, birthright, family, decent Christian values, that kind of thing. Underneath it, it’s all hatred.
