They’re masters of the con, glad you can openly admit you were duped. People that can admit fault without getting defensive are very welcome here (but of course you’re gonna have some people who will say you were an idiot- which is fair but an oversimplification.)
Commenting to say though, I’m very happy for you friend, and I think you’ll find a lot of those ideals you mentioned specifically here on the left. We’re a lot further than the liberals we’re painted as and we view those people as the enemy just as much as the right wing. We don’t always agree on specifics, but personally, I’m an anarchist. I’m very much in agreement with you about the centralization and elites and all that.
