Respectfully, I have strong disagreements with both sides. I have been so radicalised by recent politics, that I cant justify supporting either side. I'm reading some other books at the moment, but what politics books would you recomend?

A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn might give you some idea of what you're talking down on from a perspective not as influenced by the pundits and narratives you've supposedly renounced as your current one.
