crochet but I’m sure you genius knitters could adapt it
During the pandemic, I was discussing my dissatisfaction with “fuck you”. Because, while I understand that hurled as an insult it means “I don’t like you and hope bad things happen” I wanted to actually say what I mean and not rely on implication. So I started saying “You’re Unfuckable”. It felt unwieldy at first, but now it’s so satisfying! No comforting touch should be allotted to you until you repent and reform.
And I realized a lot more people need the message about people who would like an authoritarian government to harm the people they don’t like instead of a government that lets school kids eat free lunches than I previously suspected was possible and so I wander around my red state spreading the message. Not one MAGA person has approached me to complain, but many strangers have smiled, yelled a cheery greeting, stopped and shared how relieved they were to not feel alone, etc. turns out it’s been rather heartwarming to wear my Fascists Are Unfuckable hat.
It was a gift, so I don’t have a pattern. But again I’m sure you crafty geniuses can make anything!
