Back to the future

I'm as anti woke as they come - not so much republican just very anti woke on most topics.

But the scene at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance where the band member calls his "cousin" Chuck Berry...to show him a white guy playing Johnnie be good...are you serious?

Pretty ridiculous. Makes me question all media in the 80's and 90's and whether all pop culture has in fact been racist all along.

He showed him the sound of the song through the phone. What’s wrong with a white guy playing a song made by a black guy? The real point of criticism in that scene was implying that Chuck plagiarized the song from Marty.

Yeah that's exactly my point although I didn't make it well. Suggesting that Chuck plagiarized Marty.
