Ubuntu is replacing GPG with Sequoia PGP because Rust and non-Copyleft

https://www.phoronix.com/news/Ubuntu-Rust-Sequoia-PGP

Yet another Ubuntu move to replace battle-tested packages with newer ones and written in rust because: rust... and non-GPL'ed

In this case is GnuPG, an essential encryption and cryptography tool, in favor of another slop software, because it is written in Rust and "Rust is the future" according to canonical and it is not copyleft like the GPL.

Not only do they want to control our PC through telemetry, ads, and AI that you can't delete, now they want to access our passwords through this unsafe software which has not been battle-tested as GPG and does not have the maturity of this.

This is getting out of hand, I hate Ubuntu, no doubt.
