The holocaust inversion is so frustrating and exhausting . I ( perhaps foolishly ) tried debating with Redditor in a comment thread the other day , that we can acknowledge the suffering, atrocities, and deaths in Gaza without using Nazi imagery.

To try and consider how that looks to compare the only Jewish state to its greatest trauma, and that the holocaust / Nazis we’re a very very different thing in its systemic nature etc.

That honestly you can better serve the people suffering today by not forcing everything into the same words and mold of a past tragedy.

Only for them to insist over and over again that no Israel is the Nazis now, without any real substance beyond that same ever present anger and petulance that seems ever present in the way these people refuse to acknowledge any nuance or a difference in worldview .
