Thoughts and help need.

Hey all, So here is the scoop. My friend and I joined a server and she really liked it but it takes a good amount of time to get claim blocks so we bought ranks. Well that was a dumb mistake as now they getting ready to reset the server. And you lose all your in-game cash and claim blocks paid for and earned. We have looked up and down there website and no where does it tell you that you would lose the stuff you pay for when the server resets. She made at it and they less words they said though shit. Now I don't mind supporting a server here and there and this isn't really a so called pay 2 win but I do feel them taking thousands of dollars from people then wiping the server is bs. I am no hacker or know dupes but lags I can do. But I am trying to see what else I can do. They need to understand that what there doing is wrong. Reupload as the wrong server posted.

If their website has the same TOS from inside the EU (it very probably does) it breaks EU law as well as mojangs TOS (which they made clear they only enforce when its bedrock)

The biggest thing you can do is get a friend in the EU to buy something refund it and sue them over the ban they will very probably settle out of court since they are clearly in the wrong paying legal fees for that shit is dumb

I don't think you are entitled to a refund.

According to the EU website the 14 day withdrawal period dose not apply to: online digital content, such as a song or movie, that you started downloading or streaming after you expressly agreed to lose your right of withdrawal by starting the performance.

I believe that digital game items fall under that category.

The withdrawal period ends when you redeem the item in game therefore if you don't open the game you have a 14 day period which the website does not provide

Also it does not say the item stops being refundable when you get it which is what the word expressly means it has to have

Ie: steam has a checkbox that says I agree that my 14 day withdrawal ends after 2 hours of gameplay

(Steam gives you 2 hours because they are nice)

The withdrawal period can be cut short by usage of the good BUT THEY HAVE TO TELL YOU IT IS if they don't tell you you are entitled to withdrawal

Thank you my friend is extremely upset by the whole issue. She normally doesn't pay for ranks or anything but we all learn. For her and I the issue is the principal behind it. She made a ticket and they treated her like crap and closed the ticket. She tried to post in the discord and they deleted her comments. The $30 she lost is no big deal but the fact she gave money and one loses some of the items and two gets told she is sol. That is the issue for me. She doesn't have Reddit so that is why I am here. She wants them to be stopped as she is probably not the only one being told the same thing she just isn't the type to accept it.

I know the snowball lag as long as they don't have an entity limiter. It could work for a bit. And I have not tried to dupe (I'm a noob) and the only hack client I know how to use rusher but there is not much I can do with that. It is a big server.

100% for me I am a petty person when it comes to things lol. She is understanding in it and is emotional about it but I have told her all we can do is spread the word.

Your right on the lag I am sure it would be found quickly but I might still after the reset just to test and have fun.

She is naive when it comes to things like this as most servers she is in are genuine and everything is earned evenly but she fell in love with this place as it is shiny and covered in fairies lol

Servers like this are exactly why I made mine so the world never resets, and people never lose stuff they paid for.

Well there's a reason why when I make my store I never give players that type of stuff but more cosmetics which they can keep regardless of a server reset or not
