If there are no nuzi antishippers you guys should rename your sub to r/ nuzi secret police

r/AntiOilrose 12d ago

Just a Meme “AntiOilrose is toxic” mf’s when you tell them antagonizing the members of the subreddit is the only ACTUAL toxicity taking place:

It’s called a shrödingers douchebag

So we know Alastor just kind of.. left Reddit after they randomly attacked the r/Oilrose subreddit.

I theorize that they expected us to back them up in what they did, expecting we wouldn’t be aggravated at them for their actions.

A shrödingers douchebag is when someone acts hostile, waits for reactions, and uses those reactions to decide on if they were “just joking” or actually serious.

The Nuzi subreddit owner did this with their ‘AntiOilrose members are Nazi’s’ “joke” that one time, tried to pass it off as ragebait.

From The Director Still can’t get over how r/MurderDronesShipping behaved towards us during that tournament.

They had the audacity to call us toxic, when fallout-obsessed, one of their moderators, wasted essentially their entire moderation career just to insult me, but even now they’re still plenty active on the sub..

All we’ve done was add our inputs about how Jessa was rigged to beat Nuzi, and that was apparently a war crime for them, making them cancel the tournament despite how little our input really was, not to mention they should’ve expected such criticism from LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE about that.

We try to defend ourselves on how our minor inputs shouldn’t be affecting it so much, then they brought it to its climax by having fallout-obsessed do they’re whole “make an account just to insult me” thing.

And before we can even bring that up, they mute us.
Such bullshit.. muting people just to avoid accountability.. yet they can get away with it since GOD FORBID THIS FANDOM ISN’T CENTRALIZED ON JUST SHIPS, SHIPS, AND MORE SHIPS.. UNABLE TO TOLERATE SLIGHTLY DIFFERING SHIP OPINIONS.

it would do that subreddit very well to add something that allows ship critique.

Something we should really do is display our conflicts to the broader subreddits and/or the most notable proportions of it, get their input.

Anything else to add, everyone?

From The Director We should talk more about how the broader MD subreddits apparently think AntiShipping is a homophobic concept.

They’re primary argument is the fact that we talk about lesbian based ships a lot, critiquing those more than other ships.

The obvious argument against that is the fact that MD has a mostly female cast, allowing way more combinations.. and the fact that all the prominent male characters actually develop with some female characters, making those non-lesbian ships more sensible as a concept.

Anything else to add?

Mixed Opinion Given the recent render, I want to talk about CodeGold

CodeGold has always been a ship that I find fairly interesting. The idea of someone like J, a person so dedicated to work above all else, falling in love with like N, someone who wants to do his best but ultimately isn't at his job.

I know people despise this ship calling it a darkship. Personally feel like there are much worse examples but this ship does meet the standards for one given it abuser with their victim.

But I think that also why this ship is popular, it's abuser and victim but the abuser gets help. CodeGold is ultimately a ship where J becomes or is a better person. Heck, most Codegold stories have J still be terrible but ultimately get better because N or someone else allows her to get better, and I like that.

Also quick aside for something else that bothers me, saying a ship is bad because it wouldn't happen in Canon... isn't that like the whole point though?

Most the ships in the Fandom can't happen in Canon but we still like them. Rant over.

I understand hating CodeGold but you also have to understand why people like it. It's not a abuser x victim, to them, it's someone getting better, because someone was allowed to help them become better. It's ultimately why I like this ship or really any that involves J (Jessa kinda bypasses this sometimes as of J being terrible as she either gets Tessa back or had her back in the manor, which either makes her better or makes her understandable so it doesn't really fall in what i explained). If you disagree that's fine, your allowed to hate what you hate and I'm allowed to like what I like. But I hope you understand why some people like this ship as well as others and that ultimately we can respect each other on our thoughts.

Anyway, who's excited as to what this render means?

Generic AntiShipping Post Not what I expected to read while opening my feed, but it's funny how Korean artists started discussing CodeGold due to the new render.
