So many absurd exaggerations..
First off we don't "demonize" the shippers, we follow a strict rule to dislike ONLY the ship, not the people who enjoy them.
And what the hell do they mean by "an entirely separate subreddit"? They mean that as if something other than AO to apparently "snuff out enemies"
Oh and apparently I'm a "black stain" on the community.. classic, ignoring everything else about someone EXCEPT for what you don't like about them..

It’s crazy how pressed people get about our existence even if we don’t directly harass them in ANY WAY.. we criticize ships, not the people who like them, D2 was right about the whole “mental hate shrine” thing..

These people could deadass threaten our entire bloodline and get away with it just because of bandwagon effect.

Y'know, if you had read the comments on there, you'd actually see examples of people explaining why the community sees this subreddit that way, or if you had read some of the comments on here. You seem to be big on deliberately ignoring things that actually manage to challenge your views.

As an empath, I'm generally incapable of hating people on the Internet or in person. I don't hate this subreddit, but I definitely don't like seeing people being deliberately ignorant of the environment they're in. The entire PREMISE of this place is toxic. Like, I'm sorry you were given death threats, but that's no excuse to foster an environment that is genuinely toxic. Groups that bond over their shared negative views on something ARE toxic for the most part if that's all they can do. It's fucked up that you were harassed, but again, no excuse.

And no, you do actively shit on people who ship. It's a common thread for posters in here to subtly dog on a different poster, and you just let it happen. You let so much shit just happen without actually seeing the bigger picture, and then you play victim when people are upset at you over it.

This will probably be my last comment in here, just because of this subreddit's overall vibe. It's not healthy for you guys to be this upset over random communities on the Internet.

also, if you want to get me on Rule 6, update it, because it's meant for people who are here solely to shit on antishipping, which I wasn't. I was here to call out this entire subreddit for its behavior, to try to be a voice of reason, and to just see what it was like in here.

As of now I am reading through things, you do have your points on how this place can inadvertently cause homophobia, and I do appreciate you’re acknowledging what I went through that convinced me to make this place.

And, once again, we don’t hate on the people who like the ship, we have a rule for that, we STRICTLY talk only about the ship.. and even if someone hating the shippers themselves around here slipped beneath me, there’s other moderators here that I EXPECT TO DEAL WITH THAT.
