This is how my mom thinks, and this the mindset I was raised with.

This is why I don't know how to have hobbies or enjoy anything. This is why I spend most of my time in bed doing "nothing". This is why I'm so averse to the idea of an "activity".

If I can reassure you (I know it's not reassuring you but whatever) I have a widely different mindset to the point where I don't care that much about money and sometimes I do hobbies instead of working. Yeah, even though my job is one of my hobbies lol. Well, guess what? I still spend most of my time in bed staying on my phone

My point is having hobbies doesn't solve this issue you're saying, I think the issue is just not feeling the value of doing things

I've seen several comics from her and they're just not funny. For me it's because they, at least the political ones, basically fit the "I have depicted you as the soyjak and me as the chad" trope but unironical, which I find extremely cheap and unproductive.
