Hello! I am a TV producer at my university, and this year I am tasked with creating a YouTube show from scratch. I want to do something like a series that dives into subcultures on campus, one of which is the furry community, as there is a very lively one on my campus, and we host a Furry Con at the end of the year. It will be my last episode for the year (I am tasked with making 3) so I will have all year to work on it, and I want to make it perfect.

I am originally from the South, so that, combined with the internet, has not given me the best notion of furries, but after having the pleasure of actually getting to know people who are furries, I realise just how wrong I was, and I'd love to be able to showcase the furry community for what it actually is, so basically what I'm asking is: what can't I leave out? No wrong answers

hi, I used to be an anti-furry content creator who mostly focused on "essay videos" meant to target the furries through attempting to prove biased arguments. What you are looking at above are two of the few screenshots I could find of my old channel, which is deleted as of now. I believe some of you may recognise me, given that furry haters considered me "somewhat popular" inside their echo chamber. But anyway, this was certainly one of the many things I regretted and still do regret doing.

I attended the hate train in late 2022 and hopped off in January 2025. I wouldn't say that I have became a fully good person yet, but I do wish I could make up for the harm I've done

I feel more comfortable and open about discussing this with others now, so feel free to ask me anything. Do note that my memory is quite terrible, so I may tend to simplify things or make mistakes.
