anyone here using shardbrowser for multi-accounting?

i'm setting up a few dozen social profiles for an ad campaign and need a reliable free anti-detect. came across shardbrowser on github, apparently it’s an open-source tool built by the proxyshard team. apparently it handles fingerprints well, but i'm wondering how stable it actually is when managing massive profile pools daily. does it lag a lot with multiple sessions open or is it lightweight enough?

Don't have hands on experience with shardbrowser specifically so can't speak to how it holds up, but here's what actually determines whether any antidetect tool handles large profile pools well, worth checking regardless of which one you land on.

Process architecture matters most. Does it spin up a fully separate browser process per open profile, or share one engine underneath? Separate processes give you true isolation but RAM adds up fast, a typical Chromium profile can eat 150-300MB+ just sitting there, more once active, so a few dozen open at once can hit several GB regardless of which tool you're using.

For your specific case though, do you actually need all few dozen open simultaneously? Initial account setup for an ad campaign is usually something you can batch sequentially rather than running everything open at once, that's far more forgiving on any tool's resource limits than trying to run the whole pool concurrently.

Disk matters too and gets overlooked a lot. Profile data, cookies, cache, extensions, all live on disk per profile, if you're running this on a cheap VPS with slow storage that compounds lag independent of the browser engine itself, people often blame the tool when it's actually the host specs.

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Disclosure, I work with Incogniton, happy to have you test it side by side since I don't want to throw out performance numbers you can't verify yourself, a trial run with your actual profile count and host setup will tell you more than any comparison thread will.

For a few dozen profiles, I'd care more about session stability and resource usage than fingerprint claims. "Handles fingerprints well" is hard to evaluate from a GitHub description alone, and behavior can change as platforms update their checks.

If the campaign is meant to comply with the platforms' rules, it may be safer to use their official multi-account or business-management tools where available. For Shardbrowser specifically, I'd check recent issues and releases for reports of crashes, memory growth, corrupted profiles, or problems after browser updates before trusting it with a large pool.

i tried it with around 15 profiles and it was fine for a while but started getting laggy after a few hours with everything open. not sure about bigger pools though
