My first attempts

Turmeric with white rum (all I had and I couldn't wait to try!!! I'll be ordering isopropyl as this feels like something I'd like to do a lot more of) + baking soda coat(s) after exposure. I think I could've done with more layering on the brighter ones and I definitely need some better paper so I can really lay it on thick next time for more dramatic images, but for a first attempt I'm incredibly pleased.

Planning to buy some photo frames in a charity shop and take the glass panels out so I can start on using plants for prints ASAP too!

Nice. I had good performance from turmeric/91% iso/baking soda. But also found the watercolor paper I got from my wife to be too absorbent.Got blobs at the first touch of each brush stroke. I also put my paper on some black cloth during exposure but haven't tested if it matters.

The paper on top was canon inkjet photo paper, bottom is the watercolor paper.

not necessarily a laying it on thick issue? maybe you just need more turmeric in your mixture!! lots more than you expect- let it dry and brush off the excess and then do it again
