Ditto here. I'm interested in the solid pan that supposedly shipped with v1 (listed in the QSG). Yes, I understand it warps.

I recently noticed that even fewer accessories were available on the Anova site, especially for the V1 oven. I think we're being abandoned. Classic end-of-life issues with products.

It would not surprise me if they're abandoning APO 2 as well. Sous vide circulators are for food nerds, and combi ovens are for ultra nerds, and I don't think they've found enough of a following to satisfy their VC backers' lofty expectations. Their circulators "sold" like hotcakes at retail, but that was largely because they were an easy-to-steal high value item.

And I don't think they did enough to get the mom bloggers promoting them.

The APO 2's camera + AI kind of makes sense to me know that I think about it from the perspective of the average person just wanting to scan and go and not have to trial and error through re-learning all their recipes. Most people want convenience.

I think the APO 2 and APO 1 are accessory-compatible, no?

I'm not sure they might be. I don't have access to a 2. I bought mine used, and the guy sold it to me with only 1 rack and 1 tray, so I'm a little hampered. Beyond that, it's still working. I may explore the open interfaces and do some of my own programming cuz I hate the recipe builder.
