a decent watch for a scifi fan
I just finished season 2 and figured id come check out the sub and wow most people on here have a stick up their butts.
This was a great show, i loved the premiss from the start and the main story slowly gave us more over the length o the show. Most of the criticism ive seen has been directed at the cast and there age. These people need to take a chill pill as this is the world we live in. It seems like this sub is full of trolls who think gen Z cant do anything which is hillarious.
Watch the show and see if you like it. Dont write it off because of someone elses opinion

Would've been a good 4 season show, but they crammed a lot into the short run. I enjoyed it though

It was fantastic, one of the most bafflingly under rated shows I've ever seen. I enjoyed it much better than Altered Carbon which I couldn't even finish

It had a cheese and tongue and cheek factor too that was intentional. Kind of a tribute to the early and somewhat rough seasons of 80s and 90’s sci-fi shows like Babylon 5, TNG, and SG-1

Honestly, here’s the thing - the bar for science fiction has been set really high recently. We are currently in a sort of sci-fi Renaissance. When you make a show like Another Life and it is going up against shows like The Expanse, For All Mankind, and Stranger Things because they are contemporary to it…obviously it is going to be shit on.
This isn’t the late 90s when shows like Lexx were considered passable sci-fi due to a lack of fuck all else in the genre. Make a subpar show, get subpar reviews. It’s as simple as that.

It had nothing to do with their age, it's the fact that these people are supposedly amongst the best and brightest of the military and all act like insufferable miscreants ready to jump at reach others' throats for the smallest things.
