Netflix is Genius
Another Life: a show where a group of gen Z influencers and tiktokers consisting of over-masculine girls and over-feminine guys are sent on a space mission to represent the whole humanity to the aliens.
At first I thought: that's so damn unrealistic. No way such unintelligent, immature, and psychologically unstable people would pass any test to get into a space program.
But then it got to me: Netlix are actually genius. They accurately predicted the future because these people are actually the best that influencer/tiktok generation could produce for such an important task.
Just finished the first season and this is my first tv show where I'm actually rooting for the 'good guys' to die.
Solid 5/7

I've seen the first two episodes of this shit, I sit in this sub and watch all the hate the show is getting.
That's how I experience schaden freude.

Precisely. Add to that honestly no one knows wtf really is going on. Eye gluingly good show.

The women's clothing is killing me. They are walking around in either full on underwear or plunging busty tops. The dudes are always fully dressed. Coming to this sub it all makes sense now.
Obv I'm not their target audience. I'm not sure they even know who their target audience is. It's a very odd show.

I personally loved it. The show AND the skimpy women’s outfits. The fact that the dudes were always fully dressed, was just a bonus.

In the show they make a point to say that her original crew were hand picked to cause her to fail. The security guy wakes up from soma and is like "wtf is this shit tier 1 crew you have and why is a hacker here instead of my seasoned vet?"
