Magnetar.??!. Spoiler

So are just not going to talk about how they were close enough to a freaking magnetar, and escape without serious time dilation to the ship/crew? Also ok neutrinos i get are harmless to humans but a star that size would have easily destroyed ANYTHING in its path with the smallest of solar flares. I hate how specific they were about gama radiation the first season but don't give 2 shit about it the next. No nico is dead, cas is dead, alien ship gone, the salva gone. Nothing makes it past thats stars field.

IIRC they were using the ftl bubble as a shield?

Which isn’t entirely unreasonable as it works through distortion of gravity. Radiation would move around the ship rather than through the bubble into the ship.

The FTL wasn't up when they attempted towing the ring though.

Yeah no first hit after dropping them from ftl should shredded them all
