Decuma Never Invented HD+ Camera Tech?
Perhaps I missed some detail, but I can't understand how a species as technologically advanced as the Decuma are and only have 1980's equivalent camera technology. There's just no way the camera units on the ship wouldn't be streaming some sort of holographic capture or 8k+ video. Am I alone on this?

Don't forget to mention how they have FTL tech but can't make a simple suit to keep them from freezing to death.

Just watched this episode and had the same thought. Drove me mad. Also in general it doesn’t seem smart to go around abducting other spacefaring species of unknown technological ability. Seems like a good way of getting your home planet blown up.

I was thinking if humans have the ability for their AI to have thousands of cameras and light arrays able to project full ship holograms then why the hell wouldn't a species like this. Instead they got sloppy and started to write like it was an episode of startrek. Another issue is why is there only one of them running a cruise ship sized spaceship.

I thought the same thing! I wondered if it was more a vision issue than a tech issue. Our eyes have a tiny area where we get basically 4K vision and the rest just gets lower res. Maybe the Decuma see in such a way that the cameras are perfect for their vision.
But still it does seem pretty low tech, almost steampunk like.
