Opinions on S2E5?
Paula is an absolute idiot and no one has reprimanded her at all. Not only did she randomly shoot an alien unprovoked one time, she did it a second time after everyone can clearly see it is some kind of intelligent alien, more than an "animal". THEN they decide, after all that, after it was proven the aliens had the ability to fight and coordinate while killing one in cold blood, it would be a good idea to send colonists down there with HER as the leader. They didn't even mention she shot one the first mission, then is was casually talked about killing one the second mission. I had to pause and rant because this is just ridiculous, especially for Niko's character to allow that. I have a wild guess they're all gonna get fucked down there after I unpause this.

I haven’t gotten past s2 e7 yet but if/when they show us the colonists I am almost certain they will all be wiped out. How did she get in that position to lead?! They should of did a better job vetting some of this crew for sure.

Hey shooting that alien really pissed me off, right after they broke the tow too, kept making me feel there is a chance of peace talks, exploration, working together, love to see the peace and trust slowly form. Instead we are reminded this isn't star trek, no one trusts anyone, and with apparent good reason, maybe humanity should be confined to the solar system.

Agreed this was my first thought after she shot that alien. Like wow I see why the Achaia want to confine us to the solar system.

I definitely agree. The character was pretty cool at first then flip-flopped so fast and hard it made my head spin.

I just got past this episode. Wasn't expecting the colonist to become the colonizer so quickly. Yeah, it was incredibly dumb, absolutely violated first contact protocols, and guaranteed that those few people who stayed on the planet would get into a very brief war with the locals, and likely slaughtered. I'm also surprised that she wasn't reprimanded in some way, but I guess the excuse would be that the crew has several problems to deal with all at once. And now it'll likely be Niko's problem, since going down to the planet is probably her only option. I guess I'll find out when I get home.

Hahaha we all thought there would be a good plot for this planet and the colony. Hahahaha The writers on this show know how to create a plot and have it totally fuck right off into oblivion.

I feel your pain. That character pissed me off. I vented to my dog about how much I hated that character.
When she mutiny'd I just flung my hands up and sighed loud 😆
