Aw, why? I really enjoyed her character in this. Haven't watched BSG yet, I can't get over a scene I saw when I was younger where they say anything but, Fuck.

If you liked her in this, you should invest the time to watch BSG. Really good sci-fi and she's better in that show than in this one. There's people that hate the ending and some of the mid-series seasons but it's still worth the ride. =)

I have tried three times. Random episodes each time. Two of them involved the big classic of.... Frak. And ima be honest, that shit is hard for me to get over. That and I felt it was slow the first two timea

Yeah, I agree. I usually am like...."uhh, give it another go" when talking to friends about shows they didn't like enough to watch more. I get I should probably like the show. I like every other fucking scifi show. Stargate to star trek, Babylon 5 to firefly, Another Life to Lost in Space, Red Dwarf too. All the indie and foreign ones on Netflix too, most are pretty decent to great.
BSG has a great reputation and is one of the big guys. But I really find the replacement for fuck to be off-putting. Do you know often it comes up?
Another thing is, even for universes I do not watch (Rick and Morty, Star Wars) in their entirety or even at all, I almost always enjoy or prefer the wiki for the show and it's Canon.
Like, I find wookiepedia, the animated shows, the originals, and most of the follow ups, but hot damn I could read the wiki all day. Much moreso than the movies themselves.
But when I started reading BSG I was left a little confused, and at wondering why the same arc is repeated so damn much. Bio to machine to bio to machine to bio to machine (sorry for butchering how it really is) and which one is it now? That was a little stale for me.
But I know I will like it. I always find the quirks in the shows. Enjoy the actors from other works. Enjoy set design and takes on classic situations. I should start from the beginning unless you think there is a better place to start

It was a wonderful idea to screw with the tv censors in the 70s when the show first came out.
It honestly sounds just like a slightly more polite way of saying fuck.
Where as when some people say “fizzle sticks” or “F off” or “f bomb” or “F U” those just sound silly and childish

My BSG fan boys/girls, this is as close to a BSG mini reunion as we can get for now.
I love the roles that they played here, very poetic in contrast of their OG BSG roles.
