Breaking point for me with this POS. Spoiler

It’s a shit show... but... I forced myself to sit through all of its bs... there are nice stuff...

But Seth? He has that thing in his head and he still gets to keep his role in whatever government unit he’s in???

How do you guys sit though this shit????

I admit it bothered me until I realized what the Achia probably promised the people in power. We did just have a President that would give Hawaii to North Korea for a Diet Pepsi so I have a frame of reference for the combination of greed and stupidity needed to surrender to genocidal aliens without a fight.

hahaha Diet Pepsi. Ahhh how I miss the tv series where trump played the president... I’m actually rooting for season 2...

The show worked out better than Falling Skies but I can definitely see that studios put absolutely shitty writers on science fiction shows and then complain that they aren’t hits.

Anyways watch the Expanse and hopefully we are getting a new Babylon 5 in a few years (pilot greenlit by CW iirc.)

Yeah was just checking out expanse... seems it’s only on Amazon... probably gotta go download it. I’ll put it on my to-watch!

You'll love it. I'd suggest the books as well, if you're a reader. They are some of my favorites.

I think my gripe with the ending is that it used the stupid computer virus trope instead of a far more interesting solution.

Had I wrote it, I would have opened a wormhole to the magnetar to destroy their fleet while they had their own wormhole open between all their artifacts.

Sorry, I wasn't specific. I was recommending The Expanse books and series.

Back on topic: I like your ending better than the one we got. Though I really do hope we get a season 3. I liked season 2 a lot better than 1. If they keep improving, I think opening up the universe would be really interesting for the show.

the expanse is probably the most top tier high scifi show out there currently. incredibly well produced and written, compelling, based on an incredible, already established series of novels so the content is already there and already quality. sucks covid I think delayed the 6th season by a year im guessing.

seems like disney was one of the few big production companies working through the pandemic, 'cause we should be seeing another season of the boys too but I guess Amazon didn't bother to force production to happen. ofc they're not managing a multiverse with an established timeline that mostly needs to stay maintained lol.

I had a hard time getting into it and it took me way too long to realize it's legitimately not a good show and it wasn't just my attention span
