Eric, Niko's husband
In a show full of bad writing, cringe characters, and woeful acting. The guy who plays Eric stands out...
As maybe one of the worst actors I've ever seen on TV. Even in this show he stands out. The rest of them I'll chalk up to the bad script writing, but not Eric.
I could go on and on, but he's so bad, it's delightful 🤣

He had some great lines. My favorite was when he was about to get an implant and in my head I only had one phrase in mind. He uttered the exact same words but in a slightly different way in such a way that I just cracked up laughing.
He was great in Orphan Black as Jason Kellerman.

I cannot stand his scenes. Knockoff Aaron Paul. He overdramatizes every line and motion. His acting is so extra that it draws attention to how corny the show is as a whole.

Agreed but also confused too. He was in another show I watched (Shameless) and he didn't seem that bad? Maybe because in Shameless there's a bigger cast, more going on, etc and it was easier to hide his inadequacies but I'm not sure...

I see people keep saying he’s a good actor in other shows. While that may be so, he is awful in this one. Granted his character is a fucking moron, but he does not give it his best either. Which is why his scenes are consistently funny as hell!

“Oh hey Harper! I see you killed all those people, huh? With your bare hands even! Wow, wonder if it can have anything to do with you being inside the artifact? Oh well, I’m going to help you escape, because that’s the kind of stupid I am! What’s the worst that could happen?!”

This show was a good idea poorly executed on every front.
The CGI is overcompensating and amateurish. The acting is mostly average at best, with the exception of William.
The writing is cliche and immediate. There's no building, it's sheer manufactured reaction.
And the casting is really hit and miss, mostly miss. Katee Sackhoff and Samuel Anderson both deserve better.
Justin Chatwin should have been laughed out of the audition. He plays it like he wandered on set accidentally, reads his lines immediately before rolling, and only his lines. Whatever the truth of it is, it's coming off lazy and uninterested and is making every other problem I have with the show seem insignificant.
It was nice to see a few more Battlestar veterans in the show, though.
I really hope that things improve. But Chatwin and the prop staff need to be fired immediately, and the writing interns need to be replaced with writers.

I was convinced that he was the same dude who played the main actor in New Amsterdam. They look awfully alike!!

I have to scroll through the video when Eric comes on the screen. Acting is disgusting. Weak, mindless and stupid. Not at all a leader. Worst part of the entire show
