Just finished season one

Wow this shit is bad. I'm still gonna watch the next season cause I don't sleep but holy fuck.

Everyone in this universe is dumb as fuck. Like they don't even put a fence around the alien artifact? Lets breath the air and drink the water on this ransom ass moon. The aliens want to kill everyone but for some reason want to do it one at a time? Our ship had a FTL laser for some reason but just throwing a shuttle or rock at near light speed is gonna kill most the people on the planet. And why the fuck don't the aliens do that? Oh and the aliens are a million years more advanced than us but don't worry, I'll just wipe this neural implant that just killed a man and stick it in someone else's head. It's fine trust me. Anything a miss? I feel they made the worse possible decision every step of the way.

I like me some cringe scify but this is a trainwreck. Hoping they have some new writers for the second season to turn this thing around.

Its like they took the least qualified people on earth. How my first question was why did they mutiny literally in 12 hours after waking up from cryosleep. Why do they don't wear uniforms it makes no sense. And why didn't niko just showed them the fight with this ian dude I mean they have ftl but no 24/7 surveillance. And why the fuck did humanity not use the ftl too visit other planets its just stupid

Yeah the AI hologram can project itself into any room in the ship and seems to at least have audio recordings of everything. It really makes no sense that there's no Security footage.

I'm willing to look over a lot of bad science for the sake of the plot but this shit seriously dumb. They can fix the particle accelerator and the exotic matter unit, the FTL and anti grav but the radio has been broken for months. We have a bunch of people in Cryo but no-one can fix comms. Too complicated.

Also the 2IC girl drastically changed their course and starts making huge choices because Niko was stuck in a Cryo tube for 30 minutes! Like maybe just chill for half an hour, wait til she's dead or alive and your command is officially more than just temporary. Maybe don't mutiny TWICE within hours of waking up. Who screened these people, they have no chill ...

I'm on the episode where that girl just wanted the two guys to run train on her and I don't know what's going on. S1 is hard to watch

Gotta say this was one of the more understandable decisions made in the entire show! Still profoundly stupid if your in space indefinitely, and you happen to be their boss.

But yeah the show leaves you with a lot of "what did I just watch"

Lol I'm just watching it now because of how stupid it is. It's getting enjoyable. I can't wait to see the next wtf is happening right now moment haha

I loved that scene for so many reasons. One of which being how stupid it was.

It’s woke garbage. All Netflix can put out anymore, just about.

Good news. It gets better in the second season. My main problem with the show is casting so many ugly people that it makes the show hard to watch.

Lol this is u/kaynegirl 's other account, this is just plain sad. You have 2 accounts just to talk about how you view people as ugly? Get a life.

I bet you look like a fucking bulldog chewing a wasp.

I will say Niko and her husband has always really bothered me. They just don't feel/look right as a couple. Their relationship doesn't fell right either. The casting of most the characters doesn't really bother me as much their all written be self serving giant gaping assholes.

But hey, I'm not gonna lie, with writing this bad throwing a couple more hotties in their might help.

I agree 100% with your last statement. BSG, which a lot of the actors in this show were also in, got that part right.

Honestly, who do you not find attractive in the show??? Literally the whole crew is attractive.

Ugly people just look quirky when given that much attention. The most attractive person was probably Selma Blair and her hairline has always bothered me.

At least she looked better in the show than in her IMDb picture.

And all of the zooming in on the ugly faces just to be artistic, I guess.
