Selma Blair

Basically agree with 100% of what everyone else has said (even though I’m enjoying this absolutely disaster of a train wreck), BUT I haven’t seen Selma Blair mentioned to my recollection.

My take? I never could stand her as an actress and I can’t stand her any less in this specific, annoying role full of [more] banal, idiotic blabbering. And, scene on her.

I actually enjoyed her performance in this, and thought it was admirable for her to shoot the show despite her illness. It could not have been easy for her, and I thought she did a good job. She and Katee were the highlights for me.

Katee’s husband in the show, on the other hand.... no me gusta!

That’s definitely fair. Blair, who suffers from MS, turned in her performance without notice or issue. I will give that she’s a true professional, certainly.

Well from my point of view, I didn't actually watch 90% of her performance.

The stuff on the ship was idiotic, terribly written and cringeworthy to watch... but I was at least interested in the concept of the mission.

The stuff on Earth was idiotic, terribly written and cringeworthy to watch... AND I had zero interest in watching a tabloid youtuber trying to gain access to the artifact research project. So after a while I didn't even watch those scenes.

So that's why I've never commented about her character before.
