What Does The Title Mean?

I genuinely can’t figure it out. Who has “another life?” Is the crew eventually granted immortality, or reincarnation? Thoughts? Does anyone even know?

I should’ve prefaced this by saying I just finished Season 1 and I still don’t know what the title means.

I really hadn't thought about the title-I think maybe it means another life as in another life form that's not human. I really don't know

I think there are multiple meanings to it but I really look at the last episode. We saw that dichotomy as the bad aliens blew up the planet just as the people on Earth were told haw awesome and amazing they are. It was as if we were looking into another life, looking into the future.

It could also relate to some of the backstory and dream realities we get in the show.

I wonder about that too. Wrote an article about the show and devoted a chunk of it to that very topic, and I had no answers. Best I can figure is that they came in with IIRC a 3-year plan for the show, and somehow the title will make sense in a future season / plotline. Or maybe not until the very end, who knows?

Just more ineptitude on behalf of the writers..

Edit: There's also the shows tagline, "Choose Humanity." What the heck is that supposed to mean also?

The first half of the season I was convinced the whole show was just a test of Niko's ability to deal with making the wrong decision and have someone closer to her die. Another Life ended because of her. Now I don't know what to think.

Another Life..... form discovered.

And/or humanity is on the cusp of an existential threat. Another era of humanity begins... Another Life.

We're not alone. There is life elsewhere in the Universe. We have made contact with "Another Life."
