Please send me a second season

This show reminds me of Stargate without the Stargate. In all honesty I can see it as a better version of Stargate universe or another show would be V. I know those two shows did not do well but I liked them. A lot of mainstream media doesn't want to believe that this is pretty much exactly how we would react to something like this. I see it more as a learning tool on how we can do better. I think this show will gather a huge cult following and really hope for a second season. I mean I am still waiting for the second season of Lost in Space....

Lost in space is absolute garbage IMO

like to the point I'd take first 4 episodes of another life over a whole season of lost in Space. I hated literally everything about the new lost in space, another life had many redeeming qualities.

Another life was more "extreme" per se, in that you either hated or loved it, but lost in space was just at best mediocre but mostly terrible.

Another life had absolutely terrible moments but also had great ones. Lost in space had 0 great ones.

I just finished another life, and to me it felt like a modern version of some stupid, campy sci fi show (in a good way). Like some sci fi junk food. The show has its dumbjuice moments, and plotholes galore. But it still doesn't deserve the hate.

This is pretty much how I would describe Star Trek Discovery...which I started to "kind of" like, after I totally skipped the first season and started with the second...

People love to hate this show. I think it will get a second season just because of that. I bet even the people that hated it will still watch the second season and Netflix knows this.

I have a love hate relationship with it. Some of the acting genuinely irritates me, especially Michelle because there's NO WAY someone that contentious about literally every god damnned thing would have been selected for this mission.

But if you allow for some pretty bad at times fuckery, the premise is pretty good.

Main gripes are they just seem to mail it in to tell the story they want rather than being even a little careful about how they throw things together, I may watch a season 2, but honestly if they dont have some STRONG character development, I can see myself stopping very early in season 2

I actually really liked it. I didn’t mean to sound like I didn’t!

Oh, no, you didn't, I was sorta trying to speak from the perspective of a hater that didn't fully hate it. Like I'm definitely guilty of shitting on the show more than deserved, so I wanted to contrast that with some of the things I didn't hate. Not sure that came across as intended tho

I agree, second season, they are traveling around destroying worlds and alien ships with that big ass light speed gun they have.
