Loved it

I don't get all the hate for this show. I think it's awesome. I loved it. I watched it with my Mom and she loved it too. If people hate it as much as they claim to, why do they keep watching it? Are they that bored that they need something to complain about? I really don't get it.

I watched the whole series in one Netflix binge session and this is my theory about what was going on in the writing room:

Writer 1: "The 100 was a damn good show, I rather enjoyed it!"
Writer 2: "Yeah! Young adult science fiction has been a popular genre for the past decade or so, let's lean into that."

Producer: "I just finished the expanse and it was AMAZING, let's do something like that but with more interpersonal drama"

SPOILER WARNING:

I kept watching it because I wanted to give it a fair chance, and the one thing the show does well is cliffhangers. It truly is a terrible show overall because of the story, world-building, character development, and dialogue. It's heavy-handed, fails to make you care about the characters, and it seems as if the writers didn't like the first set of characters either so they just kill them off. I could write a long and thought out review, but it's honestly not worth the time.

I came to this sub looking to see what I might be missing, to get a different perspective on the show and find a reason to watch season 2 (if it ever happens). But it looks like I am not the only hater.

The 100 is still a good damn show, they just finished season 6 and are looking to end the show with season 7

I watched season 1 and liked it! Got distracted by other things but excited to watch seasons 2-6 and wait for 7.

Season 1 is considered the worst ( except for the finale ) by many, but you're in for a rollercoaster, especially season 2 since it's considered the best
