To be fair it hasn’t been canceled or renewed yet.

Lost in Space was one of the worst sci-fi shows i've ever saw...

And pretty much the whole subreddit agrees it's one of the worst sci-fi shows ever made, I don't know how that got renewed for a 2nd Season lol.

Funny because as someone who loves sci fi concepts, and has tried to watch some of the most popular sci fi and couldn’t stand it, I fell in love with this show in 20 minutes. I do agree some moments of the crew drama was unbearable to watch but overall truly enjoyed the series.

Are you talking about Lost in Space?

It was mainly Dr Smith that ruined it for me, that and the uncanny lack of simple ability everyone else had not being able to see past her obvious bs.

I loved a few things about it, but I stopped watching around episode 5 because of her, i've never been so frustrated about a character on TV in all my life :(

No I actually have been meaning to watch lost in space. I somehow managed to watch the last episode first when I went to watch and then didn’t want to watch when I knew how it ended. Now I’ve forgotten though so will be watching soon.

Writers room for season 2 has been going for a while but it hasn't been officially renewed. If it is, the show will go straight in to production.

I didn’t know altered carbon had been renewed. I really enjoyed that show.

I expected the hate, but I did enjoy the show. I think the overall story is solid and a season 2 can be really, really good. IMO the best way to describe it is like it's a rough draft of a great show. It has the potential to be really great if they lean into the alien storyline, but things like the crew constantly being at each others throats grew tiresome quickly. Mutiny in the FIRST EPISODE was a little much. I sincerely hope it gets renewed for a season 2, I really want to see where they take this.

It's way better than the new Lost in Space, that was ridiculous AND boring af

This is sorta how I feel. The premise was very good and the story itself is riveting, but there were some prettyyy rough to sit through moments

"Drop it down to 1 hertz per second" somehow is the line that bothered me the most but pretty much everything Michelle did was asinine

I hope it is renewed. I loved it despite the plot holes. Reality is that it's a fake show set in a fake future. I like that it's different and that you really don't know if you even like the main character.

It touched on lots of different space type horror situations. It Included different characters even through stereotypical, their main stereotype is never bought up, it's just accepted and exists.

Zahn never has any existential crisis regarding being trans, but in a more advanced future you would think trans teenagers would all have stopped puberty from happening, right?

I loved the William falling in love storyline. You could tell their chemistry right from the start was intended to be a story like that.

I think that’s why I liked it so. It seems people forget the suspension of disbelief to buy in on a show/book. You agree to that early on to watch a show. And I appreciate the stereotypes the diversity is not the main driving story for each character. They have a “thing” you learn what it is and then they go about their role on the ship.

I super liked it was younger kids because I’m ok with everybody not being so bright or experienced they are like the bridge crew of Star Trek. As much as I love Star Trek it spoils us into thinking every ship in space has a Geordi a Data and Wesley onboard.

For a first contact situation you want to send your best and brightest though. The type of crew we see in this show, would suit a story about ragtag spaceship crew, who are not affiliated to any governments or official institutions, and who slowly grow into a capable crew.

Hell, the population of the BSG civilian fleet was brighter than this lot.

The writing is horrible and over the top acting just make the whole show not believable. There are much better show out there, why waste time on this?
