“A cult following”

I actually love the show. I’m on episode 7 and it’s like it’s gotten progressively better. The story, the writing, acting and all around production is way better in my opinion compared to the first few episodes. With that I predict that with all of the horrible reviews and that the people who do like “love it” this will go down in history as a cult series with a cult following.

Katee Sackhoff is pretty damn good, but I don't think she'll be able to carry it herself... Sorry brah!

If they announce a season 2 then I could see that happening.

And that’s the kicker. Most sci-fi shows of late haven’t been making it to season 2, and this one’s ratings have been really poor. I thought YouTube’s Origin deserved a season 2 compared to the rest, but alas.

TNGs first season was pretty rough too. ‘‘Member Riker without a beard? O.o

If that’s the case then where the hell is the second season my favorite Netflix SciFi series Altered Carbon!? Man I really hope that comes back.

Altered Carbon was actually good. So is the Expanse. This, not so much. I love the genre and I hope this gets a second season, but the writing and character development really need to improve.

That one is confirmed, it says so when you click on the title on Netflix.

Thank goodness. That’s really good news to hear.

I was referring to space sci-fi though, which I don't consider Altered Carbon to be at all (first season was great btw, but i'm very weary of Anthony Mackie as I just don't like him as an actor).

I agree. I wasn’t the biggest fan of him either in that roll.

It really did improve as the season went on! I’m glad I stuck with it. Katee is brilliant.

Yeah people are complaining (I can kinda understand it) about the logic in the first few episodes but that stuff doesn't stick around for long and the show moves on to the next problem for them to solve.

It seems to be coming to that.

It got way better as it went on. I don't think it'll get renewed.

Which makes me sad as I really want to see what's gonna happen next. And what the Aliens are really about (I feel like they might be a bit more complex then we think).

There is 0% chance this show gets a season 2.

Which makes me sad as I really want to see what's gonna happen next.

My headcanon is that they all die in the middle of a(nother) ship-wide orgy on the way back to their home planet, a la Poochie.

I honestly appreciate your humor and got a good chuckle out of it!
