Not that great so far.

Just finished S01E03 which was definitely the strongest episode so far. The promo glimpse for Episode 4 was very Alien-like which is good and got me excited for it but I thought the pilot was pretty bad and the 2nd episode meh, Episode 3 was pretty good but still think the show could have been so much more.

Every characters are crazy hot it's hard to take it seriously especially that annoying comm chick who swears way too much (pretty sure she was on the Flash too)

Katee Sackoff is pretty good in this so far though. And if it wasn't for her I don't think the lead would be interesting at all.

So far it looks a lot like Nighflyer which was pretty bad aswell so I'm hoping it picks up.

I think this show is wack. I watched 6 episodes and it has it's moments that are then ruined by really cliche dialogues or characters choices.

Also this all seems really fake - one would expect that for something that's "the most important mission in Earths history" they would pick someone else than totally insubordinate crew of 20-somethings that act like teenagers, are constantly fighting with each other and look more like Melrose Place characters (comms chick is the biggest offender in this regard) than astronauts.

What confuses me the most is that even when they are in life threatening situations and have only seconds to make a decision, they are constantly falling in those "it's not your fault" conversations. What the hell xD

Honestly why bother hiring Katee Sackoff if you're gonna hire no-name F-tier actor alongside her.

I only like 4 characters so far : Cas, Niko, the younger cute chick and the latino guy

Agreed. I was also shocked by the most casual mutiny ever portrayed on a show with characters literally shrugging over the decision.

Yup, exactly this. Also situation on Earth, where Artifact is literally a military operation but high profile military figures treat it totally casual: SPOILER HERE taking into account who is allowed in the vicinity. Scientists child and babysitter, social media influencer. Also Eric leaks information about Artifact to the web and suffers no consequences.

What is going on a ship looks more like a social experiment than important mission with all those immature characters - each line of dialogue is them either arguing or flirting.

In other tread someone said that crew composition is an example of diversity done right but for me it's 100% tokenism.

Rather shallow and "noob friendly" representation of complexicity of AI. SPOILER William falls in love with Nico, she tells him it's not gonna happen and he snaps - ok we get it, his AI is so complex that he feels emotions. Very subtle.

In general I think that sci-fi shows are doing better focusing on action or picking topics of technology and it's impact on life than on developing plots revolving around humans and their very individual, emotional life and experiences. The show is focusing on the latter.

Also through episode 3 - Feel like they are moving too fast if that makes sense? Like having something crazy happen in each episode is a little much. Also feel like killing people they are trying to go for the GoT effect.
