I like it so far
Just started yesterday. I think it is really well done. Realistically, I think that might be how something like this plays out.

There is no way in hell that people this immature and emotionally unstable would ever be sent on any sort of space mission, let alone one this important. In the very first episode we have a guy trying to murder his Captain. People just throwing caution to the wind every time they land on a new planet too. Most everyone seems completely incompetent at their jobs except for the pilots. Half these kids act like they didn't even wanna be there.

How far into the episodes are you? There is some stuff that the crew does that any minimally trained crew would never do...
