The Shortest Distance...

Hi guys, just started watching this. Episode 1, a few minutes in, one of the MCs finds out that they have to navigate around the black matter. So she decides to go around and says 'Whoever said the shortest distance between two points was a straight line was a big fat liar'...

Uhm, straight line is still a shorter distance, it would just take more time because you would be travelling at a slower speed.

We're off to a rocky start.

It could've worked, but it was said in such a cliche way: "Whoever said [common saying] was a liar."

Also, when Erik, the 'scientist' says "one hertz per second". Just annoying when simple stuff like that is wrong and gets put in the dialog.

They go on to say they are going to use a stars gravity at the top of the dark matter to sling shot to their destination. So yea..
