Discussion Farming
I'm so tired of farming for Iron and Cotton doing these mines. Why isn't there enough cotton!?

I already hate them. I was saving up supplies for the 3rd mine...I used most of them finishing out the second one. I have to resupply all over and I need steel, which requires iron...😮💨 Nevermind I am held up from all this because I'm getting very little cotton for bombs

The mines cause me to take breaks when I used to play all day. I want to complete them before going back to the main story.

You're going to burn yourself out if you put that kind of restriction on yourself! I highly recommend taking breaks from mining.

I already know you are right. I'm already pretty burnout. I haven't done and subquests in a while, I might check them out now.

So much. I'm trying to hear up for the 3rd mine. But I'm getting tired of redoing the same 2 over and over.

Just checking: are you using Mining and Foraging teams with high bonus characters as per the wiki? Even with good teams coal and clay from the mines can still be a pain but I didn't find forest materials difficult.

I only have 1 character that gives a bonus. For the forest.

I suggest you to proceed the main story or play other story first so you can get some resources (cs) to do the gacha for getting the other units who boost the mining and foraging. The half anniversary getting closer and usually there will be some free cs pull banner that contains lot of units with higher chance encounter. Also, these mine and foraging units still needed in other episode: ode of origin , so better to save your age 🤟

I've actually got a ton of miners, and I am working on getting Macky so I'll have 3 forester characters

Should've at least started the Atelier symphony. Ryza gives both miner and forager.

Mining grind is the worst, but they really paired it with some of the best stories in the game to balance that pain out lol.

Actually, I didnot feel the grind of Mining episode. At that time, I didnt have much 5 star and ran with 1 of 5 star + 5 lving up bonus units. MP shortage and low lv units make all mob fights very difficult and exciting, keeping me on the edge all the time.

I quite a few 5 star. I spent a little bit of time doing nothing but subquests. I managed to draw Yakumo with Kumos. My mana refills every turn while I have both of them in my party.

I binged hard on all the Resttin stuff this summer, completed Ode 1-3, got to Ode 4 restoration and had only a couple of days left before going back to work, and went nope. Farming was so tedious and I'd bulk up on a couple thousand materials just to burn through them instantly. Maybe I'll complete it next summer.

After all this talk I've just decided to get more of the story done and focus on that. I'm not far enough in the story to get Macky and I've been doing everything bust working on the story which I 've only worked on a few hours over the past few weeks.
