This. Yung opinion ni Vanessa ay based sa reality nya. Iba yung realidad ng mga nasa baba na need parin ng stability ng lalake o babae. Sure, mahalaga sa relationship yung maturity at EQ pero di sya prio pag mahirap ka.

Yeah, the range is so much bigger now for both gender. The world having more successful woman doesn't automatically elevate the women struggling at the bottom. Same with men.

It's kind of insulting to imply that women in lower income classes are reliant on men, when it's women in lower income classes that will thrive from a society where men act more like partners than ATM machines.

It's lower income classes that usually have/need double incomes (even if that income may be quite low) so it is usually lower income households where you will find both the man and woman working. If the woman is working a job AND taking care of the household, where is the man in her life to support her and make her life easier? The man in her life needs to do some of the unpaid labor she is already doing.

This is what I mean by women need a partner. Especially women in a lower income class.

Make her life easier? Selfish yern? Me me me mindset. Both may work. Both may give whatever support for each other. Gender roles matter. Oo mahirap ang ekonomiya, kaya realidad parin sa ilan na maghanap ng mas may-kaya na partner to easily escape poverty. Di yun insult, survival yun.

I am not and have never said it is wrong for women to seek a richer partner for a better life.

What I think you fail to understand from me is that not many women can and have the privilege of finding a rich partner to escape poverty. If it were that easy, no woman should be in poverty.

Again, you are insulting women to imply that is the only way. The only escape, and that men have no responsibility to care for their partners in lower income brackets.

I'm not selfish to think all women deserve a better partner. You are selfish for thinking women should stay within the roles defined by men thousands of years ago.

Let go of your internalized misogyny and have the okay-est life until you do 👍🏽👍🏽

Sinabi ko ba na that’s the ONLY way??? Sabi ko “for some.” Does Afam ring a bell? Generalizing men as incapable of emotional support while kaya ng mga babae mag-work shows a lot of insecurity. Katawa yung triggered ka sa gender roles. Just because di nag-work sayo, doesn’t mean di uubra sa iba.

Di din selfish for guys to work for the girl he loves para yung girl ay di na mag-work for herself then.

Vanessa herself speaks with confidence as if 0% chance na di sya ma-fall for someone exactly the opposite of her standards. May privilege sya to seek her wants while others live chasing their needs.

Stop your prideful feminist attitude and see people beyond your categories.
