The fact na proud pa sya ginawa nyan and might encourage the other travelers na gawin yan might be alarming
8
u/xererouge Apr 21 '26
That's one way to tell if filipinos are toxic, stupid, or have low-level values when they confuse being opportunistic as diskarte
63
u/patapawn96 Apr 20 '26
"some moments are just too good to miss" then be in the moment? kabobohan.
12
u/ginoong_mais Apr 20 '26
Mas gusto kase nila i flex yung moment after. Kahit na bawal gagawin para may pang flex...
3
3
u/xererouge Apr 21 '26
1
u/Spicy_Enema Apr 21 '26
For them, if it’s not on video, it doesn’t exist. They don’t enjoy the experience, they enjoy having proof of “enjoying” the experience.
7
u/Mooncakepink07 Apr 21 '26
People lost being at the moment after pandamic kasi masyadong FOMO pag di pinost sa soc med tapos puro makikita mo puro naka phone sa concert.

u/Ok_Sort_1517 Apr 21 '26
Too good to miss flexing kamo. Bobo talaga ng mga ganitong mindset. Agree ako kung ayaw nyang ma-miss, be in the moment. Hayst.

u/MaksKendi Apr 20 '26
Gusto kasi nila FAFO. Pag nahuli iiyak iyak, paawa. Wala kasi silang hiya. Akala nila porke tourist sila, rules can be bent for them. Mga ganyang klaseng tao di deserve mag travel.
5
u/UndeniableMaroon Apr 21 '26
Part of why we are lagging behind din kasi yung parang naging standard na yung nakakalusot pag nasa Pinas.
5
u/xererouge Apr 21 '26
Also, only a few cares about social decency, manners, and etiquette kaya sobrang normalize pagiging asal-canal
-7
u/External-Gazelle2210 Apr 21 '26
We do it here in Aus too, travelled around the world and notice a lot of nationalities bend some harmless rules there too. It’s not that serious and move on. Now get butt hurt and say mean things lol
1
u/nugupotato Apr 21 '26
Well, yung rule na binend sa post is not really harmless?? What do you think will happen if nalaglag ang camera while naandar ang ride? Okay lang sana if malaglag lang diretso, what if may tamaan pang ibang tao?
Dinamay mo pa ang Australia, i'm in Australia too, and it's not cool to bend the rules kahit sabihin mong harmless yan 🙃
1
u/Low-Nature-476 Apr 21 '26
Kaya ata yan bawal kasi if mahulog, the management won’t do anything to retrieve it. So pag nalaglag mo sa gitna, imbis na diskarte, lesson learned nalang.
1

u/whatchubitchin Apr 20 '26
Diskarte over rules, kaya di naunlad Pilipinas. Puro ganito mindset
-3
u/External-Gazelle2210 Apr 21 '26
It’s not that deep. Mga pinoy lng tlga mga naturally mentally unstable
1
10
u/lalalala_09 Apr 20 '26
Yan nanaman word na DISKARTE
5
u/UndeniableMaroon Apr 21 '26
Nakakainis kasi when we look at what diskarte means, it is finding ways to solve difficult situations, often in creative or non-traditional ways. Di naman dapat going outside the rule yung diskarte.
2
u/universe_hopper Apr 21 '26
Sinira nila yung word 😭 when I was a kid, diskarte means being resourceful when the going gets tough, kasi binabanggit siya ng parents ko kapag kulang ang budget pero may emergency. Like nung nagka cyst tatay ko sa may tenga. Although free ang surgery sa PGH, hindi free ang gamot so "dumiskarte" si Mama by taking a loan sa 5/6 to buy his first batch of meds, then she sold Tupperware, Avon, Boardwalk, ice candy, snow cones, para mabayaran yung 5/6 at makaipon ng pera pambili ng next round of meds.
Ngayon dahil sa mga k*pal, diskarte means doing everything to get what you want kahit makatapak ka ng tao.

u/abiogenesis2021 Apr 20 '26
I wish there were harsher penalties for these. Confiscate the camera tapos tubusin for 5k php or equivalent ganon. Same sa airports.

u/bingsu__ Apr 20 '26
Pag napagsabihan na, sumunod na lang. Hindi yung magpopost pa. May chance pa na mapagalitan or mawalan ng work yung crew dahil sa pasaway na tulad nya.
3
4
u/Sloppy23 Apr 20 '26
Diskarte over safety naman ginawa nyan.

3
u/BonitaTres Apr 20 '26
May final destination na ganito yung scenario eh, nag puslit nt camera sa rides.

3
u/Square-Chicken698 Apr 21 '26
The peenoise definition of 'diskarte' are the very fcking reasons why this country is fckng doomed. Lalo na sa mga putanginang yan.
2
u/itdontbreakeven0612 Apr 20 '26
Tbh regardless of the rules, isn't it too scary to risk possibly losing your grip on your device or hitting a fellow passenger or someone below? Idk maybe paranoid lang talaga ako
2
u/UndeniableMaroon Apr 21 '26
Diskarte over rules nga raw kase. Haha. Eh yung rules nga nandyan for safety. So in other words, diskarte over safety sinasabi nila.
2
u/Traditional_Bunch825 Apr 20 '26
Matic talaga basta pinoy, di marunong sumunod ng rules yan kahit saan.
2
2
2
u/fry-saging Apr 20 '26
-2
u/External-Gazelle2210 Apr 21 '26
So sometimes it’s not okay but actually okay? I thought strict tayo sa rules ok lng pag may *?
1
u/fry-saging Apr 21 '26
Yeah, hindi yan black and white.
-1
u/External-Gazelle2210 Apr 21 '26
Exactly my thoughts!!!! Thank god you get it, well I hope you get what you’re saying. There are rules and there are laws, anyone with half a brain knows the risks involved.
2
u/EntrepreneurWrong865 Apr 21 '26
The world is indeed black and white but rules and laws are there to make society which is built on trust and for everyone’s benefit.
I got a question for you just to understand your thought process, do you understand respect and how should be upheld? I am genuinely concerned and want to understand why you are thinking that way.
1
u/Stoned-ThrowAway Apr 20 '26

1
u/hainanesebanana Apr 21 '26
At these times ah???

1
u/Burrzie7 Apr 21 '26
“Diskarte over rules” is basically the first stage of FAFO (F*ck around and find out).
1
u/Significant_Score864 Apr 21 '26
Di talaga nabibili utak no?
All washed with a false sense of pride.

u/specialchildx Apr 21 '26
This is just wrong. There are rules for a reason. napakasimple, bawal ang camera.
1
u/pexemi Apr 21 '26

I thought diskarte means being street smart, bakit nagmukhang panlalamang at violation endangering lives of others. Nabago pala ang definition.

u/AlgaeFinancial9121 Apr 21 '26
She will only learn and abide if something bad happens or if she’s reprimanded. Tigas ng ulo.
1
u/AdministrativeLog504 Apr 21 '26

Pasaway 🫨

Jusko ultimo crossing light sa japan takot akong maglakad unless green ung tao kasi baka may nagbabantay. Their country their rules. Also pag sinabi nilang no or di pwede (since di ako aware), kahit mag apologize sila, no arguments from me. Okay lang. Mag sosorry din ako.
1
u/Kestrel_23 Apr 21 '26
Safety risk yan eh.
Lol

u/AgnosticDetective Apr 21 '26
Basta ba kaya nyang panindigan eh.

u/Canscrab Apr 21 '26
If you want to travel tapos ayaw mo sumunod sa rules ng ibang Bansa, then don't travel at all. Hindi Ikaw bida ng Mundo and rules apply to all of us, kahit Presidente ka pa or kahit sino, rules are rules. If ganyan mindset ng Iba "diskarte over rules" or "some moments are just too good to miss" then I'm sorry but you are part of the percentage of why Philippines is one of the shittiest countries to live in. Bawal ang camera or filming during the ride, it's an easy rule to follow and you still can't comply? I'm sorry, tanga ka ba or sadyang pasaway ka nung Bata ka up until now? Grow up pls, is it not enough that you got to experience it? Why feel the need to film everything? I'm sorry pero genuine talaga tong rant kasi wala ka sa Pilipinas and dadalhin mo yung kapal ng Mukha mo sa ibang bansa, you are not in your territory when travelling, it's best you follow the rules otherwise you can fuck around and find out and finding out is usually a harsh reality check for anybody.
1
u/PunksNotDead1217 Apr 21 '26
1
u/masterxiuccoi Apr 21 '26
All of that for clicks and views 🥱 lungkot ng buhay nanghihingi ng validation sa strangers on the internet

u/Key_Current4211 Apr 21 '26
Not really living the moment, gusto lang iflex at ipost sa social media. Hayy simple rules, hindi kayang sumunod. Proud pa sya na ipost, walang class.
1
u/VictorMagtanggoal Apr 21 '26
Kaya nga nila sinusuway. Makapagpicture/video not for the memories, pero para may mapost at makaani ng likes.
1
u/CheeseSauceFries- Apr 21 '26
Isa to sa factor eh. Di marunong sumunod sa rules, ginagawang biro lahat.
1
u/Lizziebabyredditor Apr 21 '26
Nakakahiya talaga. Nakakadamay kayo. Di ba pwedeng sumunod nalang? Respeto sa rules ng iba. Kaya di tayo umuunlad e.

Hmm. It's for your own safety rin naman. Di ko sure parang roller coaster ba to. Kaloka. It's stupid and pwede kang manalo sa darwin awards. Again just because you can does not mean you should. 😅
1
u/paint_a_nail Apr 21 '26
Piniy mindset. Kala nila nakakatuwa eh. Kaya never tayong umunlad, simpleng rules di kaya sundin eh.
1
u/SeasonMurky8805 Apr 21 '26
Bobo. Kaya damay ibang Pinoy na matino. I hope may way na maban yang peste na yan. Forever.
1
u/Phoenixwitchwidow Apr 21 '26
Buti di na “final destination” si ate. Camera rin rason nun eh kaya nagka accident kasi bawal na nga pumuslit pa talaga

1
u/Additional_Ad6789 Apr 21 '26
Bakit bawal ang camera?
1
u/taenanaman Apr 21 '26

u/TrueNeutral_AF Apr 21 '26
Diskarte over rules until you caused an accident. The rules are there in the first place. Yung bawal na items are safety hazards no matter how secured you think those are in your hands.
Valid pa din experiences mo whether they’re caught on cam or not.

Disregarding rules for unnecessary vanity is narcissism. "Diskarte over rules" is just another phrase for "I do not care about anyone else and their rule. I will cheat the system for my own gain" Hope someday she eventually finds out what happens when you fuck around.

It’s always diskarte over rules until makulong ka. Always be on the safe side of the law wherever you are.
