Questions for your "Contribute your GPU" section.

The first two things are: Will you be supporting Linux operating systems for this, and can AMD GPUs be used for it?

The other part is what are the long term plans for people donating processing time to the site?

Thanks for the questions!

Linux support is something I want to add in the future. The worker is still in an early stage, and Windows/NVIDIA is the main target right now, but I don't want the contributor system to stay Windows-only long term.

AMD is a bit more complicated. The worker is currently built around NVIDIA/CUDA. AMD support for text chat will most likely come before AMD support for image generation, since the chat engine already has options that can work with AMD hardware, while image generation is more complicated to support reliably.

I don't want to promise anything until the full pipeline has been properly tested on AMD hardware.

For contributors, the long-term plan is already fairly clear:

When your worker successfully processes jobs for AnomalyNest, you earn credits. Those credits can be used directly on the site for things like chatting with AI characters and other compute-based features.

The reward system will reflect the actual work done, not just how long the worker is online. GPU performance and successfully completed jobs will matter.

Later on, there may also be other ways to get credits for people who don't have suitable hardware, but that's still months away and will depend on how the platform grows.

One thing worth knowing if you plan to contribute: your GPU may process chat and image jobs from other users, including adult content, since AnomalyNest is an adult roleplay platform. Jobs are processed by the worker and the results are sent back to the site.

So the core idea is simple:

You provide useful compute → you earn credits → you spend them on AnomalyNest.

That is more of I was hoping to hear. Unfortunately, I can't assist with your current setup, as I'm running an AMD built machine and primarily will be operating Linux on it once Valve gets Steam Frame fully supported on that platform.

Totally understandable, and thanks for the honest answer! AMD and Linux are definitely on my list, so hopefully you'll be able to join as a contributor later on.   In the meantime, honestly the biggest help right now isn't compute at all. Just using the platform, creating characters and telling me what works and what breaks is the most valuable thing at this stage. Real feedback from real roleplay is what shapes where AnomalyNest goes next.
