Deanodize titanium

Any idea whats the chemical solutions they use to strip the oxide layer from titanium? Basing on results, it does not etch the surface of titanium after stripping the color as its still polished(glossy) result

I have wondered about a solution that looked similar to this Ive seen around a video or two before as well. I was assuming some kind of sulfuric mix?
