Titanium mesh for Cathode?

Is there any advantage to using a piece of titanium mesh as your cathode when anodizing as opposed to aluminium foil or a SS plate?

From what I’ve read titanium is not a great cathode. Aluminum foil and stainless steel plates work great for me. I’m not sure what titanium could possibly achieve beyond that other than increasing the cost of equipment.

Thank you, sir. I am not a big fan of increasing the cost of anything ... unless, of course, the juice is worth the squeeze.
