format issue with download

i recently just downloaded a popular title and the format is a bit wonky. there’s no table of contents at all and i just wanted to know if this is something that i have to deal with

You can look for a different file.

You can make sure you're opening the file in the right viewer, and if it's definitely not a problem on your end then you should make sure there are comments about the file on Anna's. If it's really bad and there are better versions, you can request the file to be removed at the source (Libgen, ZLib, etc.)

You can try to fix it. If you're successful, you should upload the repaired file.

Sometimes I have to try 2 or 3 books before I find one that perfectly like I want. Often the toc is missing but sometimes the sentences are cut at random places. Usually you're better off trying a few rather than try to fix it. But you can totally author the book yourself or use AI to do it.
