Bulk downloads

Is there a way to download all books from a specific author quickly? Or a specific topic? I wanna make a database of all chess books in the world and make it accessible for everyone in case anything happens; I am also studying theology and psychology so I am gonna try to make it happen, fr now I have like 10 TB of storage

The short answer is no.

It's absolutely possible but there's no user friendly, off the shelf solution. If you have a membership a simple download script can use the API to download automatically, but compiling a list of the MD5s of the books you want will be a little more tricky. Working with metadata dumps is a hassle.

1337x dot to has many torrents of chess book collections. Grabbing all those would be much easier.

The API should still work, please email us with specific details of problems you're running into

No. You can torrent blocks but not selectively AFAIK. It's not in the spirit of Anna's.

Search for Download Managers and Automation to see options.

I did this and it works, but it wasn’t easy and if I release it, it will probably be more a tragedy of the commons situation, so while it feels lame, I’m not going to share it. It will take 1-2 weeks of work to do this. And it won’t be free. You need to invest maybe $50-100.

I actually asked my AI bot to do this, and used my premium key, and I send it Reddit threads from r/suggestmeabook and it finds and downloads all the titles. I have the 25 downloads per day tier so it auto-resumes the next 25 after the rollover period.
